I wrote the following blog at the beginning of April, yet it has taken me this long to decide how & where to blog.
Better late than never though!
Imaginatively I named it ‘To Blog or Not to Blog?’
I’ve been pondering for a while about blogging. I’ve read other people’s and have thought that I wouldn’t bother, as I am not into politics, I usually hear about current affairs from other people, I’m not into researching news to give to other people, and I’m not keen on debates either, so how uninteresting would that make MY blog!!! However, with a little encouragement I have got involved with ‘tweeting’ with business networking in mind, and I’ve actually found that I’m most interested in and seem to be most interesting myself (to others) when it’s personal. And since in my chosen therapy style I work in a very personal & individual manner, it now makes perfect sense!
BUT who benefits from my ramblings? You the person who may not even read further than my name, or you that reads the entire series of my irrelevant verboseness, or even mindless banter. Or could it be me? We all want to be heard, to be understood & respected. Maybe it just benefits me, in which case…WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
I have no idea what I will write, whether it is relevant to my chosen therapy styles, life as a single mum to 4 daughters, articles that I’ve previously written for newsletters about travelling to Australia to tour in a motorhome with 4 children (including 10month old twins), Lydia’s battle with meningitis and OMS, the Cancer Support Workshop I am about to attend or….??? Who knows! Wait ‘n’ see!
All I can say for now, is that I love writing and so I am happy to reap the benefits myself and truly hope that my words may help or inspire others.
Much love & anticipation,
Jay
